Travolator (moving walkway) is widely used in major trade centers, airports, railway stations, exhibition complexes.
Travolator can be either inclined (that is, an escalator substitute), or horizontal. Inclined travolator has a substantial advantage before an escalator, since the absence of steps on the travolator makes it more comfortable and easy to move with a pram, wheel-chairs or a shopping cart. On the other side, a travolator has its limitations — its inclination cannot be as steep as with an escalator.
